The photo that was here before is no longer here. Imagine a woodsy feel, with a ghost-like image. Slightly yellowish tone and eery. This is what the picture that used to be here looked like. There will be a new picture here shortly. For now, just imagine.

This band is called Tissø Lake, it is usually just me Ian. To confuse matters people often call me 'Janoh' or 'Yano'. When I was 17 my parents bought me a cassette four track for christmas and I recorded alot of songs about the way in which I wanted to live on an island. I asked my friends to contribute to the recordings, made tapes and cdr copies of them, and called these songs the songs of 'The Nukulaelae Atoll'. When I turned 19 last summer I bought a Tacam 38 reel-to-reel tape recorder and began to record darker sounding songs about ghosts, folktales, being nowhere and growing older.
